The late Coach John Wooden once said "Sports do not build character, they reveal it." That's one of the reasons that Midland coaches do their best to teach players how to perform both on the field, and off the field. Midland fans and players are proud to be Mustangs, but are equally proud to be Midland.
Midland athletics provide the following opportunities for team sports:

February 2025 - Our varsity teams played in the annual Union tournament February 12-15k, along with eight other Adventist high schools from around the United States. The game results for Midland are as follows:
2025 Union Tournament (Boys)
2025 Union Tournament (Girls)
May 2024 - Midland celebrated our athletes during the 5th Annual Athletic Awards Banquet. This was a time to come together to recognize our students for their athletic achievements and leadership skills on the court (or field). This year, we celebrated students in four areas: Cross Country, Acro Club, Volleyball (Varsity and JV), and both Men’s and Women’s Basketball.
We honor our athletes who have served Midland in multiple capacities over the many years they have attended our school, and we will greatly miss the skills, talent, and leadership of our six senior athletes who will graduate and move on from Midland this year.
A huge thanks to Coach Liepke and his wife, Lindy, for putting together this cherished event where we were blessed by a motivating and uplifting talk from Pastor Josiah. We, also, recognize and thank our coaching staff—most of whom are parent volunteers.
We can’t forget to thank the parents who volunteer their time, not only to help out at the games, but who also ensure their student(s) gets to practice on-time throughout the season. The support of parents is instrumental in a successful athletic program! It was an amazing 2023-2024 athletic year at Midland! We look forward to what the future will bring for these programs.
February 2024 - Our girls varsity came home with the GPAC trophy for a second straight year. In addition, senior Lydia Josiah was named the GPAC Girls MVP for a second straight year. Congrats to all our HS athletes!
